Unlike standard armor, the Gold Armor Vest in Black Ops 6 passively regenerates, eliminating the constant need for armor plates. While manual plating remains an option, its self-repairing nature is invaluable, especially during intense firefights.

Obtaining the Gold Armor Vest: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Acquire Statue Heads: Locate two statue heads within the Dark Aether Nexus. These are hidden inside destructible wooden crates. One crate is near a palm tree in a corner of the Nexus, close to the green Gateway portal. The second is easily found near the Juggernog Perk Machine on the same raised platform. 2. Repair the Statues: Head to the Dig Site. Place the acquired statue heads on the two ruined Roman statues. One is near the Ammo Cache, the other near the Roman Mausoleum (Pack-a-Punch area).

3. Survive the Blood Sacrifices: Interacting with the repaired statues initiates a "Blood Sacrifice." This involves eliminating waves of high-value target (HVT) enemies (Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts). The challenge significantly reduces your health to 1 HP, making armor crucial. Multiple HVTs will spawn depending on the number of players. Strategies for survival include using Mutant Injection (solo) or a Chopper Gunner (co-op).

   

4. Claim Your Reward: After completing both Blood Sacrifices, the Gold Armor Vest will become available for purchase at the Wall Buy in the Roman Mausoleum.

Strategies for Blood Sacrifice Survival:

• Solo: Equip a Mutant Injection and activate it just as the Blood Sacrifice begins to transform into a Mangler, rendering you invincible. Melee the HVTs.
• Co-op: Designate one player to activate the sacrifice while another player outside the area uses a Chopper Gunner to eliminate the HVTs.
