Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai!

This exciting event brings the Gen IX Pokemon Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, to Pokemon GO for the first time. Running from January 15th, 12:00 AM to January 19th, 8:00 PM local time, the event is packed with activities.

New Pokémon and Encounters:

• Shroodle: Hatch from 12 km Eggs.
• Grafaiai: Evolve Shroodle using 50 Shroodle Candy.
• Croagunk (Fashion Week Outfit): Encounter this stylish Croagunk by taking a snapshot during the event.

Event Features:

• Increased Team GO Rocket Encounters: Find them more frequently at PokéStops and in Balloons.
• Charged TM Utility: Use a Charged TM to help Shadow Pokémon forget the Frustration Charged Attack.
• Shadow Palkia Special Research: A new Special Research story arc will allow players to rescue Shadow Palkia.
• Shadow Pokémon Encounters: Encounter Shadow Taillow, Shadow Snivy, Shadow Tepig, Shadow Oshawott, Shadow Trubbish, and Shadow Bunnelby.
• Shadow Raids: Featuring one-star Shadow Nidoran♀, Shadow Nidoran♂, Shadow Totodile, Shadow Ralts; and three-star Shadow Electabuzz, Shadow Magmar, and Shadow Wobbuffet. Remote Raid Passes are usable for the first time in these raids.
• Field Research Tasks: Earn Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs.
• Collection Challenges & Showcases: Event-themed challenges and showcases will be available.
• In-Game Shop Bundle: A 300-coin bundle including an Incubator, Rocket Radar, and Premium Battle Pass.

Beyond Fashion Week:

Following the Fashion Week event, the Corviknight evolutionary line debuts on January 21st, a Shadow Raid Day is planned, and a Classic Community Day featuring Ralts will occur on January 25th. Get ready for a busy few weeks in Pokemon GO!
