New Update in Eighth Era Lets You Build Unique Hero Teams and Dominate the PvP Arena
Eighth Era has undergone a significant update, introducing PvP battles and several other major changes. Nice Gang and Perfect Day Games have launched the new Arena mode, offering players the opportunity to engage in competitive battles against one another. However, there’s a twist.
The Catch
To participate in the Arena, players must reach Level 9 first. At this point, they can build a team from a pool of 50 heroes and dive into asynchronous combat. Instead of battling AI-controlled opponents, players will now face off against real gamers worldwide.
This update emphasizes strategy. Each season features factions with enhanced stats, making it crucial to choose heroes that provide a competitive advantage. Progressing through the Arena Leagues offers various rewards, and top performers at the end of each season receive substantial loot.
Rewards extend beyond virtual items. Certain tournaments award real-world collectibles to top finishers, such as physical trophies—a creative touch by the development team.
Take a look at the new PvP Arena mode in Eighth Era below.
More Updates on the Horizon
Season Two is set to launch in late April, bringing additional collectibles. Players who secure a spot in the top ten of the tournament will receive limited-edition coins featuring new playable characters delivered to their doorstep.
In addition to the PvP Arena update, Eighth Era has seen several quality-of-life improvements. The reward system has been revamped for better loot from tasks and exhibits. Tournaments are receiving balance adjustments to ensure fairer competition and reduce the grind.
Lastly, the game is collaborating with the US Mint. An Era Vault event will give players a chance to win a Silver Eagle bullion coin—a tangible piece of American currency.
