Next Update: Jukebox and Building Added to Schedule 1
The excitement around Schedule 1 continues to build as developer TVGS, led by solo developer Tyler, offers fans a sneak peek into the next update. This eagerly anticipated patch promises to enhance gameplay with the addition of a new building named "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox that could potentially allow players to customize the in-game soundtrack, and a mysterious empty corridor. Shared via a Twitter (X) post on May 1, these updates are nearing their open beta phase, indicating that players won't have to wait too long to dive in.
While an exact release date remains under wraps, the update will first be available in the beta branch. Fans keen to experience the new features early can adjust their Steam settings to participate in the beta. For those eager for more information, TVGS's Trello board serves as a comprehensive resource detailing their ongoing plans and updates.
Upcoming Update Adds New Building, Jukebox, and More
Schedule 1's status as one of Steam's top-selling games is bolstered by its commitment to regular updates. The upcoming patch, showcased through images of the new "Stash and Dash" building, the Jukebox, and an intriguing corridor, has fans buzzing with anticipation. Although the specifics of when the update will be fully released are yet to be announced, the community's excitement is palpable.
Plans for Map Expansion
In a recent Twitch livestream, Tyler provided a deeper look into his vision for Schedule 1's future. He introduced his work on 3D modeling and shared ambitious plans for a map expansion. The expansion aims to introduce a "swampy, slummy area" alongside an expansion of the town's more affluent side, featuring additional houses over cliffs. Following these developments, Tyler's next focus will be on an island across the main area.
Given that Tyler is working solo, these expansive additions may take some time to complete. However, the community's enthusiasm for the game's future remains high, eagerly awaiting the new content and the continued evolution of Schedule 1.
Currently, Schedule 1 is available in Early Access for PC players. To keep up with the latest news and developments, be sure to check out our comprehensive article below!
