Valve made a Smissmas miracle and dropped the last part of Team Fortress 2 comic

Sometimes miracles happen, and for long-suffering fans of Team Fortress 2, a miracle has arrived. Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.

Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this seventh numbered issue marks the 29th overall release, including event and themed stories. The last TF2 comic was released in 2017—a seven-year wait.

Valve playfully acknowledged the lengthy delay, likening the comic's creation to the building of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They quipped that while the Italian landmark's builders didn't live to see its completion, Team Fortress 2 players only had to wait "just" seven years.

This new comic provides a satisfying conclusion to the storyline, and there's strong indication that it will be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw hinted as much in a telling tweet on X, referencing "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic." While the wait was long, players can now enjoy a fitting end to the narrative, delivered with a touch of festive cheer.
