War Thunder's "Firebirds" Update: Stealth, Power, and New Vehicles!

Gaijin Entertainment has announced the upcoming "Firebirds" update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update introduces a host of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships, promising thrilling new gameplay.

New Aircraft Take Flight

Prepare for the arrival of aviation icons, including the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the formidable F-15E Strike Eagle.

The F-117A Nighthawk marks a first for War Thunder: a stealth aircraft. Its unique design, incorporating radar-absorbing materials and angled surfaces to deflect radar waves, made it a legendary ghost in the skies during Operation Desert Storm, completing over 1,200 combat sorties without loss.

The F-15E Strike Eagle offers unmatched firepower. An enhanced version of the classic F-15, it boasts a 50% larger payload capacity and a ground target detection radar. Players will wield a devastating arsenal, from AGM-65 Maverick missiles and laser-guided bombs to JDAM and GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (capable of dropping 20 at once!).

Beyond the Skies: Ground and Naval Additions

The "Firebirds" update isn't limited to air power. New ground vehicles include the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank. Naval forces receive a boost with the addition of the French battleship Dunkerque.

Aces High Season Continues

The current Aces High season offers further rewards. Complete the season and Battle Pass to unlock unique vehicles (including the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11 aircraft, the T54E2 and G6 platoons, and ships like the HMS Orion and USS Billfish), trophies, and other valuable items.
