The Pocket Gamer Awards 2024 winners are finally here, following two months of nominations and voting! While some winners were anticipated, others provided delightful surprises. This year stands out as exceptionally strong for mobile gaming, a fact clearly reflected in the public's choices.

The awards journey has been remarkable, showcasing the industry's incredible growth since 2010, when reader's choice constituted just one award category. Witnessing the nomination process from October onwards has been a privilege; the sheer volume of votes is impressive, but more importantly, this year's winners truly represent the breadth and depth of the mobile gaming landscape.

The list includes giants like NetEase (with their Sony IP: Destiny), Tencent-backed SuperCell, and Scopely, alongside established publishers such as Konami and Bandai Namco, and beloved indie developers like Rusty Lake and Emoak. The year also saw a significant surge in successful ports, mirroring the trend of PC games adapting mobile classics, but in reverse.
