As a fan of the game, it's exciting to see such a tribute to a milestone that feels both monumental and incredibly swift.

The design of both controllers is strikingly similar, featuring intricate Geralt of Rivia-inspired etchings. A standout detail is the wolf medallion, which Geralt wears around his neck, elegantly etched into the center of the controller. According to the announcement blog, these controllers also incorporate Glagolitic script, the ancient Slavic alphabet seen within the game itself. The right grip showcases the iconic red claw marks symbolizing the "III" from the game's title, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.

Functionally, these controllers maintain the high standards of their regular counterparts. The current Xbox controller remains my top choice for its ergonomic feel and durability, especially enduring the rough handling by my kids.

The Elite Series 2 version justifies its higher price with additional features such as adjustable-tension thumbsticks, hair trigger locks, and a wrap-around rubberized grip. It also offers customizable components including thumbsticks of various heights, different D-pad designs, and assignable rear paddles, enhancing gameplay versatility.
