Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaked Permanent Bangboo Dress-Up Mode and More

New leaks suggest a permanent dress-up mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.5, launching January 22nd. The anticipated feature, a Bangboo Beauty Contest, centers around customizing outfits for the mascot, Eous.

Version 1.4 introduced new S-Rank characters (Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, the latter being free) and two permanent combat-focused game modes. This upcoming update appears to follow suit, adding another non-combat mode, potentially permanently.

Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, revealed the Bangboo dress-up mode, initially part of a limited-time Beauty Contest event, will remain accessible post-event. Leaked screenshots showcase various clothing options for Eous. While the mode itself becomes permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also unlock a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.

Beyond the dress-up mode, other leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode. HoYoverse's history with other titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail-making and Genshin Impact's TCG, demonstrates a precedent for non-combat permanent game modes.

Version 1.5 is confirmed to include new S-Rank characters (Astra Yao and Evelyn), a fresh area, and a new main story chapter. More details are expected soon.
