Yamada Heiando, a renowned lacquerware artisan, has unveiled a captivating collection of Pokémon bowls inspired by the Chinese zodiac. These handcrafted beauties feature Pikachu (Rat), Ekans (Snake), and Dragonite (Dragon), each imbued with symbolic meaning for a child's development. Pikachu embodies kindness, Ekans represents growth, and Dragonite symbolizes openness. The artisan describes them as "gentle guardians," perfect for sharing family meals.

These limited-edition bowls, crafted using traditional techniques, initially sold out rapidly on January 17, 2025. A second sales period begins January 31st, with a two-item purchase limit per customer. Each set costs 16,500 JPY (approximately $105 USD), and international shipping is available (additional charges may apply).

Pokémon Center's Exclusive Eevee Evolutions Figures

The Pokémon Company also launched a series of exclusive Eevee evolution figures at the official Pokémon Center online store on January 16, 2025. The first trio – Jolteon (skillful), Flareon (satisfied), and Vaporeon (playful) – are now available, with the remaining Eeveelutions to be released in groups of three throughout the year, each with unique personality traits.
