Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase Journey with new challenges and mysteries.

New 5-Star Characters Join the Fray

Version 3.1 introduces two formidable 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the acquisition of Nikador's Coreflame, players explore the Grove of Epiphany, a new map, to rescue survivors and unravel the catastrophe's truth. The quest continues with the recovery of Cerces' Coreflame to restore hope to Okhema.

The update delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State. This exploration unearths the long-lost history of the Era Chrysea and reveals Tribbie's (Tribios') past. Tribbie, the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, who received a prophecy from Kephale about Deliverance.

Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His unique ability involves consuming his own HP to power up, entering an enhanced state where he automatically attacks enemies during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events

Version 3.1 also features the return of limited 5-star characters Yunli (first half of the warp event) and Huohuo (second half).

The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day and Night System impacting battles. Combat changes based on the time of day, triggering different buffs and effects.

The "Awooo Firm" event casts players as managers assisting a chimera squad in Okhema.
