Japanese Mahjong: A Digital Adaptation
This game faithfully recreates the rules of Japanese Mahjong. Tiles are selected using an on-screen slider; tapping the slider discards a tile. The objective, as in all Mahjong, is to complete four melds and a pair.
Example hand: [1, 2, 3][6, 6, 6][6, 7, 8][N, N, N][4, 4]
Note: Certain hands are invalidated by actions like Chi, Pon, and Open Kan. Be mindful of the restrictions on using 1 and 9 tiles in these actions. Japanese Mahjong rules require at least one hand.
A premium hand can be achieved through a 1,000-point Reach. However, Reach is impossible after performing Chi, Pon, or Open Kan. Closed hands yield higher scores.
Understanding "Lost Hand": A waiting hand becomes a "Lost Hand" if the player has already discarded a winning tile. Even if the player has discarded a winning tile, a "Lost Hand" can still win on a self-draw. Crucially, a "Lost Hand" can never win via Ron (from another player's discard). Winning is only possible by anticipating and claiming a winning tile from another player's discard.
Version 6.10.1 Update (October 12, 2024)
This update includes an updated external SDK.
