Following recent allegations surrounding his 2020 Twitch ban, Turtle Beach has severed its partnership with Dr Disrespect. The gaming accessory company had a long-standing relationship with the streamer, even producing a limited-edition headset.

The allegations, made by former Twitch employee Cody Conners, claim Dr Disrespect engaged in inappropriate conduct involving a minor via Twitch's Whispers service. These claims ignited controversy, prompting several of Dr Disrespect's partners to re-evaluate their relationships.

Turtle Beach confirmed to IGN the termination of its sponsorship, including the removal of Dr Disrespect's merchandise from its website. This follows a multi-year deal signed in 2020 and subsequent collaborations, including the release of a co-branded headset.

Dr Disrespect's Midnight Society Departure

This isn't Dr Disrespect's only recent partnership loss. Midnight Society, a game studio he co-founded, also ended its association with him earlier this week. While initially believing in his innocence, the studio ultimately decided to part ways following the surfacing of the allegations.

Dr Disrespect continues to deny any wrongdoing, stating that the matter was resolved with Twitch in 2020 and that no illegal activity occurred. He has also announced a temporary break from streaming, potentially extending his planned vacation in light of the current situation. The duration of his absence and future plans remain unclear.
