The latest Winter Update 3.0 for Anime Vanguards, brought to you by Roblox developer Kitawari, introduces a wealth of exciting changes and additions to the beloved tower-defense game. This update is designed to keep the festive spirit alive with a host of winter-themed enhancements that promise to keep players engaged for weeks on end. One of the most striking changes you'll notice upon logging in is the revamped lobby. Kitawari has responded to player feedback by significantly expanding the lobby space, now boasting a sleek, remastered UI and a "much better and cleaner" stage selection interface. The new lobby is not just larger but also 10 times more impressive, featuring a customizable Day and Night cycle accessible through the settings menu.

"We heard your issues with our current lobby; it was too small and cramped, and we were running out of places to put new game modes," Kitawari stated in the Winter Update 3.0 patch notes. "Get ready for our stunning new lobby – 10x more impressive than anything you’ve seen, featuring a customizable Day and Night cycle which you can check out in Settings!"

A key highlight of the Winter Update 3.0 is the introduction of the new Portals game mode. Kitawari encourages players to utilize winter units and skins to boost team damage and unlock additional rewards. Alongside Portals, the update introduces Sandbox Mode, allowing players to experiment with new strategies without any restrictions. Players can also look forward to collecting 12 new units, available through the new Winter Banner, Portals game mode, battle pass, and leaderboard rewards.

In terms of quality-of-life improvements, Kitawari has implemented several tweaks to enhance the overall gameplay experience. These include smoother unit placement, Evolution Quests now appearing in a special tab, and the addition of search bars in the skins and familiars windows. Units now also properly highlight the enemies they are attacking, making it easier for players to track their actions.

Anime Vanguards' Winter Update 3.0 continues the game's tradition of regular updates since its launch last January. When spectating a unit, you can now choose between Default, First Person, Third Person, and Top-Down views. The spectate interface now also indicates which unit you're watching.

NEW! Health Stocks

The currency-based health system has been replaced with base stocks. Each stage now starts with 3 stocks, and one enemy reaching the base deducts one stock. Losing all stocks results in a match loss. Bosses will instantly deplete all stocks upon reaching the base.

NEW! The Hidden Gateway awakens…

The mysterious portal item, obtainable as a Floor 50 reward in Worldlines, has revealed its purpose. Use it to open a gateway to a hidden challenge and uncover the Secret within!
