Battledom Alpha: Immersive Strategy Experience Arrives

Feb 11,25

Indie game developer Sander Frenken has unveiled the alpha testing phase for his upcoming title, Battledom. This RTS-lite game serves as a spiritual successor to his 2020 hit, Herodom. Developed over two years, Battledom represents a refined vision of Frenken's original Herodom concept.

Battledom introduces dynamic RTS combat, granting players free unit movement across the battlefield. Players directly target enemies and manually operate siege weapons for devastating attacks. Strategic formations enhance the gameplay experience.

Players build their armies using in-game currency, starting with basic, unequipped units. Customization is key; players equip units with weapons and armor, impacting stats like range, accuracy, defense, and attack power.

Quarry with stones in buckets and an elevator lifting a bucket of stoneResource gathering is essential. Players collect materials like wood, leather, and coal within their village to craft equipment at various workshops, including the blacksmith and magician's quarters.

Frenken's previous title, Herodom, enjoys a 4.6 App Store rating. Featuring over 55 collectible heroes, 150+ units and siege weapons, and historically-inspired battles, Herodom offers extensive gameplay, including farm customization with crops and animals, and character customization with hairstyles and body types.

iOS users can participate in the Battledom alpha test via TestFlight. For updates and further information, follow Sander Frenken on X or Reddit, or explore his other games on the App Store.
