Crusader Kings 3 Devs Share Initial Insights on Nomad-Themed DLC
Paradox has recently shared exciting news about the next expansion for *Crusader Kings 3*, which will delve into the world of nomadic rulers. This eagerly anticipated DLC will introduce a unique governance system tailored for nomadic peoples, complete with a new currency called "herd." This currency will play a crucial role in determining a ruler's authority, influencing various aspects of gameplay, from military strength and cavalry composition to lord-subject relations and beyond.
A hallmark of nomadic life is constant movement, and this expansion will reflect that. Nomadic chieftains will navigate their paths through negotiation or by displacing local populations, adding a dynamic layer to their strategic decisions.
Rulers will also gain access to special yurts, portable structures that can be transported much like an adventurer's gear. These yurts can be upgraded with new components, offering a range of benefits to the nomadic lifestyle.
