"Genshin Impact: Four New Characters Leaked"

May 04,25

Genshin Impact continues to captivate its audience with frequent updates that introduce new characters, storylines, and regions. The recent Version 5.3 update has already brought two new characters to the fray: Mavuika and Citlali, showcased on a double banner. Adding to the excitement, the second phase of this update will feature a new 4-star character, Lan Yan, coinciding with the Lantern Rite Festival.

During the latest Special Program event, HoYoverse teased the community with silhouettes of upcoming characters, hinting at their arrival within the next six months. Although specifics about their simultaneous release were not disclosed, the reliable leaker DK2 has provided a detailed roadmap. According to DK2, these characters will be introduced in updates 5.7, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6, respectively, and all will be 5-star units.

Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Upcoming Five-star Releases

Particularly noteworthy is the character slated for Version 5.4, whose silhouette aligns with that of Mizuki. Currently in the 5.4 beta phase, Mizuki appears to be the sole new 5-star addition to this update, bolstering the credibility of DK2's leak.

Mizuki, a new 5-star Anemo catalyst user from the Inazuma region, may signal a return to this beloved Electro nation in the main storyline. This aligns with HoYoverse's pattern of revisiting older regions a few updates after new ones are introduced.

Leaks have indicated that Mizuki will serve as a support character, with her abilities centered around maximizing Elemental Mastery. Beta footage suggests a strong synergy with the newly introduced Pyro Archon, Mavuika. If Mizuki headlines the first banner phase of Version 5.4, fans can anticipate her arrival around mid-February.
