Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Overhaul Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a celestial shakeup! Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 blasts off on December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes, updates, and new features. Prepare for a completely revamped minion lineup and a Tavern that's undergone a cosmic makeover.

Technotavern Transformation:

Bob's Technotavern is getting a major upgrade! Season 9 resets ratings and bids farewell to Trinkets. In their place? Battlegrounds Tokens! Use these tokens during hero selection to reroll your options – perfect for escaping those less-than-ideal choices.

Minion Reveal Schedule:

Before the full launch, Hearthstone is revealing new minions in stages:

• November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.

More Galactic Goodness:

Season 9 introduces three new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating significant buzz thanks to his Galaxy's Lens. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are either joining or leaving the pools.

A damage cap adjustment affects solo Battlegrounds: early-game damage is capped at 5, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. However, this cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

Launch Timeline:

• December 3rd: Official launch with Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs.
• December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the minion pool.
• December 9th: Undead and Elementals added to the mix.
