Developer Warhorse Studios took to Twitter to celebrate this "triumph," echoing the excitement they expressed when the game hit 1 million sales just one day after its release.

This remarkable achievement comes for Warhorse Studios' sequel to their medieval Europe action role-playing game, which debuted on February 4 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. Last week, Embracer, the parent company of Warhorse Studios, highlighted the game's strong performance on Steam, where it achieved over 250,000 peak concurrent players. To put this in perspective, the original *Kingdom Come: Deliverance* reached a peak of 96,069 concurrent players on Steam seven years ago.

It's important to note that the actual peak concurrent player count for *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is likely even higher, considering its launch on consoles as well. However, Sony and Microsoft do not disclose player numbers publicly.

Looking ahead, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* has an exciting post-launch roadmap that includes three expansions slated for 2025. In the spring, players can expect free updates, including a Barbers feature for additional customization, Hardcore Mode, and Horse Racing. The summer will see the release of the first paid content expansion, "Brushes with Death," where protagonist Henry assists an enigmatic artist with a mysterious past.

Come autumn, the "Legacy of the Forge" expansion will delve into Henry's past by exploring the history of his adoptive father, Martin. Finally, in winter, "Mysteria Ecclesia" will send Henry on a covert mission to navigate the intricate dynamics of the Sedlec Monastery.
