The legendary female fighters Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui immediately spring to mind. While Street Fighter x Tekken featured Nina and Chun-Li facing off, a rematch isn't on the horizon.

However, Mai Shiranui's arrival as a guest character in Street Fighter 6 is a different story. Her gameplay trailer cleverly pits her against Chun-Li, a seemingly deliberate choice.

Mai showcases her signature moves, and her Super looks spectacular, promising widespread popularity within Street Fighter 6's roster. Sadly, fans will need to exercise patience, as Capcom has set the release date for February 5th, meaning a three-week wait.

Let's hope the Street Fighter 6 team keeps us entertained with additional content in the meantime.
