The Might and Mastery season in Pokémon GO is drawing to a close, with its final week, Final Strike: GO Battle Week, commencing on May 21st, 2025, and concluding on May 27th. This event marks the culmination of your journey with Kubfu, leading to the evolution into the legendary Urshifu in its Single Strike or Rapid Strike forms.

What to Expect During Final Strike: GO Battle Week?

As the season winds down, it’s time to finalize your efforts with Kubfu. To evolve it into the Single Strike Style Urshifu, ensure Kubfu is your buddy and defeat 30 Dark-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. For the Rapid Strike Style, follow the same steps but focus on battling 30 Water-type Pokémon.

Additionally, a Special Research task will extend the Seasonal storyline, available until June 3rd, 2025. This research offers Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and encounters with themed Pokémon such as Charcadet with a Special Background.

A Highlight on May 25th

This day features the Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day, where Gigantamax Machamp makes its debut in six-star Max Battles from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During this period, bonuses abound—traveling only one-fourth the usual distance earns Max Particles, the Max Particle storage limit increases to 1,600, and all Power Spots host Gigantamax Battles, rewarding players with 8× Max Particles and two extra Special Trades.

Don’t miss out on grabbing Max Mushrooms, which temporarily double the damage dealt by Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon. While multiple Max Mushrooms can extend the timer, the power boost remains consistent.
