Play Svara Online: A Guide to the Card Game

Svara (Svarka) is a captivating card game played with a standard 32-card deck (7s through Aces). At least two players are needed. The game boasts a total of 4960 possible card combinations, ensuring diverse gameplay.

Game Rules:

Each player receives three cards dealt clockwise. The hand's point value determines the winner. Points are calculated as follows:

  1. Number cards (7-9) are worth their face value (7-9 points).
  2. 10, Jack, Queen, and King are each worth 10 points.
  3. Aces are worth 11 points.
  4. Cards of the same suit are summed for their total value. For example: Q♦, K♦, 10♠ = 20 points; 10♠, 8♠, K♥ = 18 points.
  5. Aces can be combined regardless of suit; two Aces equal 22 points, three Aces equal 33 points.
  6. The 7♣ ("Ceco Jonchev," "Chechak," "Chotora," "Shpoka," or "Yoncho") combines with any other card for a total of 11 points.
  7. Three 7s constitute the strongest hand, worth 34 points.
  8. Three of a kind hands are worth three times the value of the card. For example, three 8s equal 24 points (3 x 8 = 24), and three Queens equal 30 points (3 x 10 = 30).

Examples:

  • 7♥, 9♦, 9♣ = 9 points (lowest possible hand)
  • 10♠, 10♦, 10♣ = 30 points
  • 8♣, K♥, 9♦ = 18 points
  • K♥, 9♥, Q♣ = 29 points
  • Q♣, Q♥, 9♦ = 20 points
  • A♠, A♦, 10♣ = 33 points
  • 8♠, A♦, 7♣ = 22 points
  • 10♦, 9♦, J♦ = 29 points
  • Q♣, Q♥, Q♦ = 30 points
  • 7♣, K♥, K♦ = 21 points
  • 7♣, A♥, A♦ = 33 points
  • Two 7s (any suit) = 14 points

Betting Rules:

  1. Before dealing, each player places an ante.
  2. The player to the dealer's left makes an optional blind bet.
  3. The next player to the left can optionally double the blind bet. If a player passes on a blind bet, the next player cannot make a blind bet.
  4. After cards are dealt, players place their bets. If there's a blind bet, subsequent bets must at least double the previous bet.
  5. To see other players' hands, the player who placed the blind bet must match the current bet.
  6. If no one matches a blind bet, the last player to place a blind bet wins.
  7. Without a blind bet, and no other bets placed, the dealer wins.
  8. If two or more players tie, a Svara (tiebreaker round) occurs, incorporating all previous bets.
  9. Players can join a Svara round by paying a specified entry fee.
