General Changes
Let’s dive into the core updates to gameplay and user interface.
A new League Migrations button enables character transfers to parent leagues. Strongbox mechanics have been refined, with shorter intervals between enemy waves and clearer distinctions between spawned and native map mobs. A bug preventing monster spawns has been resolved, and fog clears once all enemies are defeated. Research Strongboxes now appear more often. Runes in equipment can now be swapped with ease, armor effectiveness has been boosted, and Expedition Vendor access no longer depends on character level, though equipment rarity ties to the shop’s level. Existing shops remain unaffected.

Minions dying far from the player now respawn instantly nearby. Uncut Gems display their level in the item name, equipped Charms show remaining charges, and map entry is safer as monsters no longer spawn at the entrance. Picking up items during actions like attacking or lever-pulling is now smoother.
Game performance has been optimized, particularly in shadowy areas, with faster loading, improved boss battles, enhanced visual effects, and better behavior in The Ziggurat Encampment.

Skill Changes
Supercharged Slam now has a 3-meter radius cap. Scavenged Plating grants more stacks against stronger foes. Vine Arrow’s description now specifies that projectiles only strike enemies upon impact. Pain Offering’s Aura tag has been removed, and skills in Meta Gems no longer gain energy. Lightning Bolt is renamed Greater Lightning Bolt, tied to the Choir of the Storm amulet, with adjusted damage mechanics.

Monster Changes
Essence Monolith mobs can no longer use skills instantly, but their Toughness is significantly boosted. Boss hitboxes now align better with attack animations, spawn rates for some monsters have decreased, and mob energy shields have been rebalanced for smoother map clearing.

Endgame Changes
Patch 0.1.1 introduces four new Tower Map areas, with updates to the Lost Towers Map. The Arbiter of Ash boss fight now offers six attempts due to its difficulty, with uninterruptible Falling Flame Seed and unblockable Flaming Gale skills. The boss prioritizes players over Minions. Maps now feature checkpoints, guaranteeing at least three Rare Monster encounters per map. Monster balance has been tweaked, doubling the count in Untainted Paradise. Chests are more abundant in some areas, bosses appear roughly every four maps, but Map Boss Waystone drops are less likely.

Other Changes
Over 70 bugs, spanning client crashes, quests, and interactions, have been fixed. Visual effects have been polished, and more than 20 controller issues resolved. Over 100 equipment items have been rebalanced for fairer gameplay—check your inventory! Notably, Original Sin now grants +17-23% Chaos Resistance instead of zeroing it out.
