Base
BASE is an innovative app designed to transform learning in schools by integrating football into the educational process. As a valuable partner tool for teachers, BASE aims to enhance the classroom experience by introducing a playful yet educational approach to learning. The app allows children to engage with the same educational content they would typically encounter, but in a more dynamic and enjoyable way—through play.
The app's initial phase is structured similarly to sports tournaments, divided into three seasons. Each season features four levels of competition: Regional, National, Continental, and World, preceded by a Pre-Season. These tournaments vary in the number and difficulty of questions, which are referred to as matches. BASE employs gamification techniques, rewarding students with coins, points, and trophies to maintain and enhance their interest and engagement.
The educational content within BASE has been meticulously developed by the Vini.Jr Institute team, in collaboration with the faculty of the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. The app targets the early years of Elementary School, specifically students in grades 1 through 5, aged 6 to 10. By leveraging the universal appeal of sports and the accessibility of technology, BASE seeks to attract and engage young learners effectively. All questions within the app adhere to the guidelines set by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), ensuring that the educational content is both relevant and aligned with national standards.
