Monster Hunter Wilds Patch 1.000.05.00 Resolves Quest Issues, No Performance Boosts Yet
Capcom has rolled out Monster Hunter Wilds hotfix 1.000.05.00 across all platforms, bringing significant improvements and fixes to enhance the gaming experience. This patch tackles various progression blockers and resolves numerous bugs, though it doesn't address performance issues as outlined in the patch notes.
Despite its record-breaking launch, Monster Hunter Wilds currently holds a 'mixed' user review rating on Steam, primarily due to performance concerns on PC. Nevertheless, the game's success is undeniable, having sold an impressive 8 million copies within just three days. This makes it Capcom's fastest-selling game ever. Monster Hunter Wilds also boasts the fifth highest concurrent player count on Steam, reaching a peak of 1,384,608 players, surpassing games like Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Elden Ring. For comparison, Monster Hunter: World peaked at 334,684 players.
Looking ahead, a title update scheduled for early April will introduce a new endgame area for resource gathering and additional monster hunting content.
